Not bad and a quick and easy way to have a fairly unique costume for Halloween or any other fancy dress party you maybe be attending.
Most people will immediately recognize you as a Viking or some kind of middle ages warrior because of the tell tale helmet. This seems kind of ironic since research suggests that Vikings never wore these types of helmets, but why spoil a fancy dress party with the truth. It seems that the iconic cow horned helmet was a Victorian invention or re-imagining of Viking times.
This helmet on display is made of plastic. There is foam padding inside the helmet to ensure a comfortable and snug fit for most people’s heads. The horns are also made of plastic with faux fur lining at the base of each horn. Simply screw the horns into the helmet base and you are ready to go.
If you really want to push the boat out (that’s a longboat of course) then purchase some costume weapons. You can get all sorts of items, such as broadsword, sword, axe and mace. You might want to get a shield too.
Viking costumes and all kinds of middle ages and medieval costumes are sure to be an original look at any party because the theme is not that well known and there are no films currently showing to inspire people. It is a simple costume idea for men, women and children. So you can really stand out at the party by simply getting a viking costume helmet.
