Who is He-Man?
Before all of the modern superheroes kids rave about today, there was He-Man. Just like any other, he too had an alter ego. Prince Adam of Eternia on a regular day, but when it’s time to do some saving, he raises his sword to the sky and calls on “By the power of Grayskull” and magically transforms. Once it is complete, he finishes with “I have the power”. But unlike any masked avenger of sorts, there are barely any differences between Prince Adam and He-Man- just a deeper voice and a darker skin tone and hair color.
What makes He-Man special has to be his superhuman strength. He is so strong that he is able to literally move mountains. There was even an episode where he carried an entire castle, Castle Grayskull, and threw it through a dimensional doorway of sorts. Not only super strong but super smart as well- a rare pair, wouldn’t you agree? So even with his amazing skills in combat, he usually uses his intellect to solve problems and only ends up in battle when there is no other choice.
Masters Of The Universe He-Man Costume
Don’t worry, you do not have to start working out if you want to go as this superhero from the 80’s. The Masters Of The Universe He-Man Costume will make even the lankiest and skinniest person alive look like one pumped up hunk of a man.
So strap on the chiseled muscle chest jumpsuit that is complete with biceps, triceps, chest , six pack. Attached to it is the signature gray armor that showcases a big red cross in the middle. You wrists have mustard cuffs. The same color is used for the belt that leads to the faux fur loin fabric. The same material can be found on the boot covers.
So you have the whole body and armor on, but He-Man would not be He-Man without his long shiny locks. So top it all off with the blond wig that comes a little past the chin area. This outfit can be teamed up with the She Ra costume or any female viking costume if you plan to go as a couple
While this is not really a viking costume as such, there is little doubt that the Master of the Universe look has elements of the Norse god Thor in a comic book sort of way. The only thing missing is the big hammer but He Man substitutes this with a sword. Be the Master of the next big Halloween party in this fun outfit.
